How To: Troubleshoot a Gas Mist Sprayer
At the start of your mist spraying season, it is always a promising idea to check all necessary parts that make mist spraying happen. Sometimes, they fail to turn on, build pressure, or rotate. These issues can occur even with the most trusted, dependable brand of mist sprayers out on the market today. Since these rare occurrences do happen, we have created a troubleshooting guide, allowing you to take those preventative measures that can help solve your problems ahead of time! Pressure Problem

Check ball valve (turned to Pump position)

Go through, check and clean T-Filter

Test and make sure the pump is spinning

Verify the belt is tight

Confirm that the set screw is tight

If needed, replace the pump
Fan Does Not Rotate

Check connections on battery, and quick attach plug on wire harness

Inspect 25-amp fuse in wire harness
-
Test connections on the rotation motor
Fan Rotates Only One Way

Check relays behind the back shield

Test limit switches
Spraying Problems

Confirm pressure (If no pressure, please follow Pressure Problem Steps)

Check nozzle filters and spray tips for blockages

Verify solenoid for good connections and clean solenoid
No Spraying & Fan Does Not Rotate

Check 25-amp fuse in wire harness
Engine & Remote Does Not Work

Examine 25-amp fuse in the key switch box
Engine Turns On, But Remote Does Not Work

Check 5-amp fuse in wire harness
-
Replace batteries in the remote and re-program remote
