(March 2021) - Bought my sprayer from Steve Nelson at the Western Farm Show in 1999. It is PTO driven and has been nothing short of GREAT! Serica Lespedeza is a real problem here and the mist blower has killed many acres of it for me. I can get under fences and trees where boom sprayers can't. The 50 gallon tank can get over 15 to 20 acres depending on ground speed. Steve has told me of the upgrades and I know it would be better, but my mister works fine...hate to give up on an old friend! I like using my A1 Mist Sprayer for spraying pastures and brush. I have been using one for approximately 10 years with good results and cost efficiency. The people at A1 are very good to work with and knowledgeable.
I recently purchased a 3 point PTO driven mist sprayer from A1 Mist Sprayers. I am strictly a row crop operation and spray field borders, fence rows, and road ditches with my mist sprayer. I also spot treat for Johnson grass with outstanding results. I would say if you don’t have an A1 Mist Sprayer in your farm operation, you are making your job a lot harder than necessary.
